Academic Positioning & Accreditation Status

Malatji Bible Training Academy is committed to providing structured, quality, and accessible Bible and ministry education. Our programs are designed to provide a structured framework for academic progression and learning development.

Accreditation Status

MBTAC is not currently an institution accredited by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Accordingly, MBTAC does not represent its programs or awards as SAQA-accredited qualifications.

Structured Academic Framework

Our curriculum is developed according to a structured academic framework that promotes:

  • Sound biblical and theological learning;
  • Clearly defined learning outcomes;
  • Progressive levels of study;
  • Appropriate assessment and academic standards;
  • Practical ministry application; and
  • Continuous academic and quality improvement.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

MBTAC also recognizes the value of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Where applicable, students may use their prior learning, ministry experience, and learning achievements from the Academy when applying for further study at institutions whose admission and credit-recognition policies permit such recognition.

Important: Recognition of MBTAC learning or prior ministry experience by another institution is determined solely by that institution's own admission, credit transfer, and RPL policies.

Malatji Bible Training Academy operates as a church-based Bible and ministry training institution, providing Christian education and ministerial training within the constitutional framework of the Republic of South Africa.

MBTAC's educational and ministry activities are informed by the rights and freedoms protected by the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996, including relevant provisions of the Bill of Rights (Section 9 Equality, Section 15 Freedom of Religion, and Section 31 Cultural, Religious, and Linguistic Communities).
